Olkiluoto Mica Gneiss is the bedrock underground of Onkalo, the first worldwide final repository for nuclear waste build in Olkiluoto, Finland. The gneiss bedrock at Onkalo is approximately two billion years old. It is supposed to create an infinite quarantine for the 12.000 tons of nuclear waste to be stored there.
