Excerpt from the accompanying text of the exhibition:
"On the occasion of the Schwules Museum's move, we have asked the photographers BENTEN CLAY, Johanna Jäger and Tobias Wille to reflect on the transformation of the museum photographically.
In their installation „Circle“, consisting of portraits of the staff at the Schwules Museum, BENTEN CLAY recall the circle as a primal form of human togetherness. They remind us that every circle exposed to the temporal course of transformation becomes an unfinished process, similar to an open band."
